The Poudre Valley Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1976 to philanthropically support and promote activities to serve Poudre Valley Hospital. In 2004, the Medical Center of the Rockies Foundation was formed to raise private financial support for Medical Center of the Rockies and local programs that meet the health needs of communities throughout the region. Until 2012, each hospital had its own foundation. In 2012, the Poudre Valley Health System entered into a partnership with University of Colorado Hospital, combining community-based care with academic medicine and creating the University of Colorado Health. At that time, our two northern Colorado foundations merged to create the PVH and MCR Foundation.
The PVH and MCR Foundation currently holds and administers more than 150 different funds supporting a wide scope of programs at our northern Colorado hospitals and clinics.
